Don't Push
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
"Congratulations, Candidate! You've been selected for a corporate job interview at Parallax Systems."
It’s not going well.
Don't Push is a short, satirical first-person puzzle-platformer created in 2 weeks for the 1-2-3 Scope Game Jam. You’ll navigate three questionable “test chambers” as part of a suspiciously vague hiring process.
Run, jump, wall-run, and slide your way through a surreal testing facility with all the charm of a motivational poster and the safety standards of a meat grinder.
Key Features:
-
Surreal, mid-century modern environments with a retro-corporate twist
-
Momentum-driven parkour movement: slide, vault, wall-run, and launch
-
Three highly curated “tests” designed by someone who’s definitely read a physics manual once
-
Narration inspired by Get To Work and The Stanley Parable
-
A mysterious button. Do not press it. Seriously.
Inspired by:
-
Portal (test chambers)
-
Mirror’s Edge (momentum-based parkour)
-
The Stanley Parable and Get to Work (narrative weirdness, corporate satire, and the illusion of choice)
Push your luck. Push your limits. Just... Don't push the button.
