A Quick Flame

Note - If you are having performance issues, be sure to check out the Options menu (Escape key or Start button to access if not on the main menu). Turning off Brush Strokes will be the biggest improvement in performance, but there are also other settings. You can also run the game in Windowed  mode via pressing F (Select on Gamepad) to toggle it.

About

A Quick Flame is a short romantic narrative game about two foxes meeting again after some time away from one another.

Navigate a semi-open world environment, utilizing flame apples to melt obstacles. Explore then environment to reveal story elements. And most of all, take your time to enjoy the scenery!

Made in ~10 days for Vimjam 3: Multi-Use. Inspired by A Short Hike and The First Tree.

Controls

• The controls are revealed as you play. Both Keyboard and Gamepad are supported (use the options menu to swap to Gamepad button prompts).
• F (Select on Gamepad) will toggle full screen and windowed mode (locked at 720p in windowed)
